The role:
- Supporting the FD with he budgeting and forecasting process, analysing any variances
- Provide management reporting for decision making purposes which will include trend, variance & sensitivity analysis
- Provide support to business heads/budget holders on Sporting Events; continuously reviewing & reconciling budgets, ensuring accuracy on revenue & profit is available to senior management at all times
- Modelling of business development opportunities
- Provide divisional cash flow forecasting on a weekly/quarterly basis, monitoring business unit cash flow requirements
- Involvement in Month/Quarter/year end close
- Implement and monitor financial processes and controls across the division to ensure consistency, accuracy and speed of reporting.
The Person:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent); preferably from a practice background with at least 3-4 years PQE
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Able to demonstrate great commercial acumen
- Advanced Excel & modelling skills
- Excellent attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlines
- Strong work ethic, diligence and integrity
- Adaptable in your approach
- Great team player
- SAP would be an advantage
