Job Title: Senior Sales Executive (BDM)

Industry: IT Software (SaaS) – Investment Sector

Location: City of London (office). Pan–European Territory.

Salary Range: Basic salary anticipated GBP75–85K (there is some flexibility for the right candidate), first year OTE and target will be adjusted due to low quota whilst candidate comes up to speed – by Year 2 double OTE uncapped. Expected to increase year on year.

Core competencies/skills required:

  • 5+ years SaaS sales experience
  • Expertise in the Financial Services (FS) vertical – any knowledge of the following areas would be beneficial: private capital fund space, buy–side, multi–class asset or alternative investments
  • Stable track record with consistency in hitting target within SaaS into FS
  • Hunter mentality, tempered with a consultative approach to sales
  • "Black book" of contacts within FS vertical
  • Experience selling at C–Suite level – exudes gravitas and is articulate

About our Client

Our client is an established and well–regarded software company which has more than 1,000 clients. Headquartered in the USA with additional offices in the UK, Europe and APAC.

Due to continuing commercial success, they now seek a Senior Sales Executive to spearhead the sales of their innovative SaaS–based platform. Our client offers a portfolio of software solutions aimed at FS organisations, including: – Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Venture Capitalists, Real Estate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Fund of Funds, Family Offices (and others).

About the Role

This is a new business role, which requires a self–starter at a senior level, who possesses contacts in the relevant vertical/s, to drive the business to the next stage. This role will be fully supported by the Management and presents an excellent opportunity to "stamp your mark" on this successful organisation and potentially earn great rewards.

Your personal territory with be UK and Europe.

Additional requirements of the successful candidate (in addition to those listed above):

  • Ideally, sold SaaS in Fintech space
  • A self–starter, able to work in a fast–paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Likeability – a personality that attracts people to work alongside them and clients to buy from them – not a lone wolf
  • Happy to travel – a Pan–European territory

Qualifications:

  • Degree desirable, but not mandatory – relevant experience is more important.
