Finance Business Partner

Our client is a property developer with an impressive portfolio across the UK.

You will be responsible for all monthly accounting and financial analysis for the UK assets in your own portfolio. You will also bring strong business partnering skills and the wider investment and development team to ensure a cohesive team performance. The successful candidate's main responsibilities are but are not limited to:

• Complete monthly accounting reporting packs for the senior leadership team
• Present months end close highlights to CFO and Head of Finance
• Integral part of the annual external audit process for the commercial assets, responsible for various audit deliverables and the internal audit process.
• Proactively ensuring statutory compliance deadlines are met on time for entities responsible for.
• Support the process improvement experience of month end close by reporting accurately and on a timely basis.
• Analysis of asset performance against forecasts and budgets.
• Responsible for maintaining balance sheet reconciliations for your portfolio.
• Assist the Head of Finance in any financial modelling and support for other ad hoc projects when necessary
• Identify and suggest system enhancements that will improve the timeliness of reporting process

Our client has been focussed on building a best–in–class finance team and is looking for somebody with the following skills and experience to join their existing team to support their future growth:

• Sound knowledge in financial accounting and management methodologies
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of excel and use of other relevant software
• Strong technical accounting background.
• At least 3 years' commercial accounting exposure (preferably in real estate sector)
• Management accounting exposure, ideally within a real estate investment firm
• Finance Business Partnering experience.
• Strong team player with a track record of working cohesively across different departments
