Summary:
Do you have experience of business development in the EV space? Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager who can target EV installation sites, for instance in new builds, Service stations, hotels, fleet management, and public charging points. The ideal candidate will already have been in this space for 2 years and is a self–starter and self–motivated. The BDM will build our clients reputation in this area and sell their ambition. You will be working for either an energy supplier within EV infrastructure or will be working for an existing EV company. Apply today!
Key responsibilities:
- Establish the business as a leading provider of end–to–end electric vehicle charging infrastructure solutions and Chargepoint Operator (CPO) services in target markets that include; fleet charging, public charging, domestic and commercial developments.
- Develop business and create new strategic partnerships that will increase commercial opportunities and opportunity conversion.
- Contribute to the development of strategy through excellent knowledge of market, product, competitor and customer developments.
- Provide regular feedback on market conditions, competitor activities and progress towards business objectives.
- Deliver against agreed Business Development revenue targets and objectives.
- Develop an industry–leading understanding of the prevailing arrangements, commercial models and service providers within the EV market
Skills and experience required:
- Track record of success in an EV sales or business development environment.
- Passion for transforming the energy sector through technology.
- Strategic thinker who can apply a range of analytical techniques to prioritise activities.
- Confidently handles complex sales and negotiation processes.
- Demonstrate a customer focused approach; and an expectation of others to do likewise
- Brilliant communicator who is familiar with liaising and selling to senior executives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Very strong problem–solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
