You'll be responsible for ensuring DCC can attract the very best talent to the business whilst building a leading talent function moving forward. This role will work closely with the Head of Leadership Talent & Learning, and responsible in the team for ensuring that the best talent pipeline into critical roles are in place. Reporting directly into the Chief People Officer the role holder will work in partnership with the Head of Learning, Talent and Leadership and Head of People Partnering & Operations within the People function as well as Senior Leaders within DCC and Capita HR, who provide our Policies. This is a new role in the People Team and as a result, you'll get an opportunity to review and shape our current practices and influence the shape and execution of our people strategy. You'll work closely with the Head of People Partnering and Operations to ensure that our hiring, talent and business processes work hand in hand, and our initiatives are not just embedded in the business but are celebrated and lived.

Key Accountabilities

Lead the DCC Talent Acquisition function in first class recruitment practices, processes, assessment models and technologies that will elevate our recruitment strategies.
Own the end to end recruitment process, ensuring the effective management of the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and create a resourcing strategy that not only drives the business forward but improves overall candidate and Hiring Manager experience.
Be fully conversant with the key contractual obligations and performance metrics across the RPO and ensuring appropriate monitoring and escalations processes are in place
Accountable for the service delivery and performance of the RPO, undertaking monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
Responsible for creating a continuous improvement culture with the Talent Acquisition function, analysing dashboards and metric to optimise team efforts.
Proactively form internal and external relationships to generate intelligence that can inform DCC of the likely impacts of on skills, labour acquisition and retention.
Work in collaboration with the Head of Leadership, Talent and Learning to integrate talent solutions into the hiring process.
Work with the RPO, the Head of People Partnering and Operations and the HRBP's to understand business strategy and delivering through a resourcing strategy that drives internal talent mobility.
Understand and drive effective workforce planning practices and resource forecasting accuracy.
Develop and implement with the RPO strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business.
Work in collaboration with the Head of Leadership, Talent & Learning as appropriate to input into succession and contingency frameworks and impact on Resourcing.
Work with the Head of Leadership, Talent & Learning to establish the assessment approach to identifying and recruiting talent.Skills/ Experience

A proven track record in managing an RPO to create Talent Acquisition strategies and delivering operational excellence.
Ability to influence stakeholders, building strategies and executing flawlessly.
Good knowledge of employment/recruitment legislation.
Ability to develop and maintain long term strategies with candidates as well as with internal teams and external partners.
Results orientated and data driven.
Resilient and commercially minded.
A strong leader and motivator of teams.
