We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, all–rounder Senior Project/Programme Manager (Data Science and Digital Technology) that is experienced with data and comfortable in the Defence industry.

Overview of the role:
We help our customers by providing insights and solutions which enables the successful delivery of their objectives. We apply AGILE techniques and deliver tangible value fast, whilst championing the practical application of best standards and frameworks, such as: GDS and DDaT. Our ideal candidate will be capable of managing senior clients, who are often Heads of Digital and Data Transformation within their respective organisations, whilst leading a multi–disciplined team, including partners and third parties, and the respective contractual, commercial and legal agreements.
We are looking for strong all–rounders, who are keen to be involved in both technical delivery and also business development. Only candidates who have live Security Clearance (or 5+ years' UK residency in order to gain it) and relevant industry experience will be considered for the role and invited to interview.
* Owning our senior client relationships, and delighting them by translating requirements into tangible product and service outcomes
* Leading a multi–disciplined team of both internal data science and technology specialists, and external partners to delivery client outcomes
* An appetite to lead data science and digital technology transformation and it's positive and lasting impact on our clients
* An ability to translate complex ideas into plain language for non–technical audiences, and to gain enduring support for Techmodals services
* Demonstrable experience of managing commercial and legal aspects of contracts, and working with internal project and resourcing assurance functions
* Desirable public sector or defence experience
* Desirable knowledge, or acknowledgement, of government digital standards such as GDS and DDaT
* A role model for the development of our people, and a keen team player.
The successful candidate will have:
* 10+ years' experience leading technology and data programmes or large complex projects
* Responsibility for contracts and PnL in the range GBP5–GBP20m
* 5+ years' experience of partner & supplier performance management
* A practical understanding of deploying AGILE processes and techniques to deliver outcomes
* Lived client facing consulting skills
* Advantageous to have previously worked in the maritime sector or Navy (but not compulsory)
* Hold live or be eligible to obtain, Security Clearance. (which requires the last 5 years UK residency)
