Court of Protection Lawyer

Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a in–house Public Authority who are currently in need of a Court of Protection Layer to join their expanding team. This position has come about due to expansion and future growth and it is an exciting opportunity to support the enhancement of this longstanding organisation.

Role: Court of Protection Lawyer

Location: Wales, remote working

Rate: GBP35–GBP45ph Umbrella

Contract Length: 3 months, potentially ongoing

The Role:

Manage your own Court of Protection Caseload from start to completion
Assist more junior members of the COP team and assist them with their caseload
You will be dealing with Court of Protection matters in the following areas: health care disputes over children, mental health and inquestsThe Person:

Someone with a minimum of 2+ years' PQE in Court of Protection law
Someone with experience in at least one of the following areas: health care disputes over children, mental health or inquests
