Your new role
Reporting to the Corporate Director of Finance, you will take responsibility for the financial services and transactions teams covering financial accounting, management accounts reporting, tax, rent and service charge accounting and accounts payable with direct management for the Financial Controller and Rent Service Manager.

Your key duties will include:
  • Working with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the WHG Corporate Strategy
  • Proving effective leadership, being performance and delivery focused
  • Strategically lead WHG's financial and management accounting reporting and control activities across the Group
  • Responsible for budgetary and forecast preparation. Implementation of policies and procedures to enable effective budgetary control and reliable reporting.
  • Oversee tax and VAT, work closely with the FD for Strategic Planning to ensure any data for new tax requirements are captured correctly within accounting systems and statutory reports.


What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fully qualified accountant who has been responsible for financial accounting and experience of producing clear, concise and objective reports to management bodies, Boards and Committees. You will also have experience of successfully leading a team.

What you'll get in return
A competitive salary of £93,500 + a healthy pension and annual leave allowance.
