I am currently working with an international specialist, Lloyds broker who are looking for a Financial Controller to join the London based team. This is a forward thinking, progressive business with a strong record of training and development of staff alongside excellent retention rates.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director, this is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge of group accounts, consolidations and IFRS. You will need insurance sector experience with broking strongly preferred. Working knowledge of corporation tax and VAT will also be highly desirable.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director, this is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:
- Monthly management account production
- Forecasting revenue, expenses and cashflow on a weekly basis
- Client Money calculations and FCA submissions
- VAT and tax returns
- Annual statutory accounts and annual budget processes
- Staff management of 3 direct reports including IBA
- Working closely with senior management to support on ad-hoc analysis
What you'll need to succeed
