Purely Automotive Recruitment is offering an exciting opportunity for a focused and dynamic New Business Development Manager based in South Manchester. Our client is an award–winning marketing and events company working with a host of clients in the Automotive sector. Our client possesses strong working relationships with Automotive Manufacturers, OEM's, and Retail Automotive Businesses throughout the UK and across Europe.

Ideally you will have a successful new business development sales track record from an industry that leads you to win and manage existing accounts of manufacturers right through to retail supply chains.

You will be incredibly energetic and vibrant being at the forefront of the organisation, and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting new business sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

The role is open to qualified candidates living across the UK from Manchester to the South and South East of the UK.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing their own base of new business accounts and forming trusted relationships with key decision makers, up to director level. As a New Business Development Manager, you will have a strong focus on acquiring new business and the ability to identify lasting business opportunities, whilst creating cross platform marketing, events, new product line–up sales events, and digital media proposals, that exceed client expectations. You will also be able to competently maximise the cross sell and upsell opportunities available to you through internal channels.

You will also possess the ability to confidently communicate and negotiate at all levels. You will possess the ability to generate your own leads through a variety of sources, have the ability to network and build rapport, as well as manage your sales pipeline right through to conversion. Attention to detail is a must, as is the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.

Promote the organisations products and services, as well as addressing or predicting clients' objectives.

Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships

Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long–term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.

Develop strategies and positions by analysing new venture integration.

Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals.

Deliver exceptional standards of customer service upholding the company values.

Work closely with all departmental teams and schedulers to ensure you meet deadlines and deliver high levels of value and client satisfaction.

Ideal Skills & Competencies:

We require a professional sales specialist with previous New Business Development experience, ideally from within the automotive industry, or from within the events, marketing or digital selling environments. You must be able to demonstrate a strong passion for the brand and possess an engaging capability to open doors with new clients, establishing their needs and requirements.

You must be able to present and deliver an effective strategy to win new business for sales events, marketing, point of sale, digital and video.

You must be articulate, possessing exceptional communication and negotiation skills and be immaculately presented.

Ability to manage the sales pipeline and to negotiate and close contracts.

Results oriented with a genuine passion for exceeding targets.

Possess the right skillset to properly manage client accounts through proactive engagement, whilst providing complete customer satisfaction to increase client retention levels.
