Consider the role of a Business Development Manager / Account Manager

The role:

This role will work on increasing the client base and managing the subsequent relationships. The workplace wellbeing team are charged with leading on and developing the business to business strategy and growth.

This role will initially focus primarily on developing a pipeline of sales leads and converting these into contracted business to support the growth of our workplace wellbeing division. However, when established the role will actively manage these relationships, working collaboratively with clients in a truly consultative way to enhance their wellbeing provision and support the cross sell of our solutions.

Your day–to–day responsibilities will include:

• Take accountability of building and converting the sales pipeline and identifying new business opportunities.
• Promoting and creating awareness of the entire range of the company's products, services and contracts to maximise repeat business.
• Take a lead in working with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify, develop and pursue tender/sales opportunities.
• Foster productive relationships with competitors/partners whilst retaining commercial sensitivities for both parties.
• Develop high quality, logical proposals to time and to meet sufficient quality, which respond effectively to the requirements of the client
• Use analytical, communication and influencing skills to make recommendations to pursue/not pursue new business opportunities in the workplace wellbeing market.
• Represent the company externally at conferences, events and meetings enabling the growth of our brand and the development of sales leads.

Essential criteria:

• Successful Client Engagement/Business Development Manager with significant experience of both sales and client management. An understanding of business development in the corporate wellbeing sector would be advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to establish an effective and appropriate rapport with clients.
• Demonstrable time management and personal organisation skills with the capacity to monitor, evaluate and report on work carried out.
• A very high degree of commercial awareness focusing on the cost and bottom line impacts.
• Highly developed relationship and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to explain complex business concepts, delivery models/solutions.
