Interim Group Performance Marketing Lead

Location: Remote (occasional travel to London/South Coast)

Rate: up to GBP600–800 per day (rate to umbrella)

Duration: 6 month contract (potential to extend)

Sanderson are partnering exclusively with a leading retailer to identity a Group Performance Marketing Lead. This role is a fantastic opportunity to accelerate the performance marketing strategy, working with a diverse range of international stakeholders across multiple brands and locations. As Performance Marketing Lead you will have ample opportunity to influence and drive business change at the intersection of marketing, growth, and data, you will use your influencing skills and proven performance marketing credentials to deliver against the customer and digital strategy, in partnership with both senior execs and operational teams.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in performance marketing, preferably in a D2C or omni–channel retail organisation, with a track record of driving revenue at scale
  • Deep domain expertise in at least five of the following channels: paid search and shopping, paid social, programmatic display and video, affiliates and price comparison marketing, digital out of home advertising, native advertising and mobile advertising.
  • Expert understanding of digital analytics
  • Proven expertise in consultative leadership, with an ability to drive change and influence at every level of the organisation
  • Ability to outline growth opportunities, share results and gain support for your recommendations using a data driven narrative
  • Results–driven pedigree, with excellent data analysis skills, an analytical mind, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to build a business–wide community of interest around the performance marketing discipline by sharing best practice
  • Proven skills in business analysis and project management with a domain specialism in performance media, advertising technology and marketing technology.
