Head of Finance

My client is a Warwickshire based manufacturing business who are looking for a Head of Finance on a permanent basis.

This is a great time to join the business and you will have the opportunity to really make your mark on what goes on. You will be the type of individual who is always looking at ways of improving systems and processes.

This role would suit an individual who wants to get out from behind their desk and be out in the business. You will be comfortable in working with different stakeholders and your communication skills must therefore be exceptional.

You will be technically astute and will be an advocate for strong financial controls. There will be a lot for you to get involved in, some of which is as follows:

Tax compliance
Group reporting
Statutory reporting
Month end close
Consolidation
Provision of technical accounting advice to the wider business

You will be looking after a team and therefore management experience is a must. The team are in quite a good spot and will therefore need an individual who can work with them to look at marginal gains in terms of the way things are done. Good interpersonal skills are an absolute must.

A qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), you will be looking for a role in an exciting business where you'll be happy getting involved in everything thrown at you.
