Principal Systems Engineer - LUTON

As part of our on–going support to our client based in Luton, we are currently looking for Systems Engineers at all levels and grades to join our team to work with us delivering a System Engineering service to one of the UK's leading Aerospace & Defence companies. Due to the nature of the project we are able to offer both permanent or contract positions. The salary/rate will be negotiable based on experience and skill level.

As this work is in the Defence industry a full valid Security Clearance is a prerequisite for this work, as is being a UK national (dual nationalities are not able to apply for this role due to restrictions on the contract placed by the MoD). Electronic Warfare experience is required

Key Responsibilities

* Our staff will work across the full systems engineering lifecycle with our client, so we would expect our staff to be working on a combination of

* Elicitation of System Level Requirements from customer requirements

* Producing a Test strategy for testing the System Functionality

* Performing System Requirements Validation

* Performing System Verification and Integration

* Implementing the Problem Report Lifecycle – (investigate, resolve, close)

Mandatory skills:

* Experience using Doors / UML / Rhapsody

* Experience of full system development lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Implementation, Verification, Validation, Integration)

* Able to work on a customer site and represent Expleo
