Description:

TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) are engaging with a large financial services organization to deliver a MVP for the replacement of a legacy application which was written in .Net SQL and manual data upload via Excel extract file upload (essentially filing, tracking of customer bereavement data) with a a new Camunda–based application.

The request is for TGS to provide a feature team, who will be tasked with building the application post–MVP and creating future iterations of change to the platform. This has to be mobilised from Q4 in order to ensure successful delivery benefits to customers of the application as we go into 2022.

The Business Analysts will be tasked with carrying out their role within an Agile environment, and therefore must have prior Agile project experience . Key to the role is the ability to conduct user story authoring and agile requirements gathering from both the business and technical teams.

Typical Daily Tasks include:

Technical Business Analysis;

Gathering business and technical requirements.

Managing internal processes through the implementation and recommending improvements where necessary.

Carry out documentation of the business requirements for technical change.

Liaising with the technical team and ensuring adherence to the business requirements

Creating technical requirements from the business needs.

Understanding terminology from the business/systems and translating into technical documentation.

Assisting with implementation of the project and supporting with any delivery issues or post implementation issues.

Knowledge of technology principles and experience in working on projects implementing software components and applications.

An understanding of financial services / investments operations and knowledge of how business transformation initiatives operate

Agile Delivery Methodology;

Ability to take non–functional specifications to daily sprints

Continuous integration into development methods

Working to agile delivery framework through sprints, scrums and standups.

Stakeholder Management;

Ability to engage with business teams to understand functional requirements and ask relevant questions to create non–functional tech specifications.

Ability to engage with technical teams and talk through technical specifications created and understand any bottlenecks.

Ability to negotiate conflicting priorities from various stakeholders

Comfortable discussing and communicating with high–level individuals both on business and technical side of the business.
