Interim Financial Controller
Based: Blackburn area
Salary: up to £60k dependent on experience. Strong FC 6 month FTC
Our client is a leading, global manufacturer based in Blackburn. Business are part of a European group with this role managing finances for the UK and US subsidiary, totalling around £40m. This role requires a strong, qualified Financial Controller who is immediately available to start and can hit the ground running. Experience on SAP is essential, manufacturing experience would be beneficial but not essential
This role will work with the Head of Finance on all things accounts, audit and projects

Role:
- Taking a lead on the audit, all month and year end finance duties
- Management of 2 in finance
- Overseeing all banking and transactional duties
- Month end management accounts and month end reporting
- Implementing and managing financial controls & risk
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Reporting & financial analysis for growth
- Liaising internally with key stakeholders both finance and non-finance
- Supporting management of external relationships including auditors, banks, accountants
- Working closely with the Head of Finance on various ad hoc projects
Experience:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience of an audit
- Strong experience in statutory accounts, financial controls and audit/tax desirable but not essential
- SAP experience essential
- Manufacturing experience desirable not essential
- Strong eye for detail, able to adapt to a growing business
