Finance Manager (BioTech)

A fast growth biotech company based in London who have grown significantly in the last few years are now looking to build corporate functions as they emerge from start up to scale up. With a robust business model in both the healthcare and consumer markets, this role would be well suited to an ambitious, team orientated finance professional.

Your new role
Working as a Finance Manager within this business the role take full ownership for the accounting function, reporting to the Founder, managing and developing a team. The role will be regularly exposed to interacting with senior stakeholders and will play an integral part in significant changes to commercial analysis including systems implementation.

Duties

• Ownership and development of monthly reporting cycle
• Liaison and responsibility for audit and statutory reporting
• Supervision of small team
• Build processes to establish company wide awareness of budgets and forecasting
• Scenario planning for future group strategic options

What you'll need to succeed
You will need be a highly capable qualified accountant who can work within a dynamic, entrepreneurial business. The role will put you at the business end of decision making and process improvement so you will need to be able to demonstrate the capability to influence whilst establishing robust processes. You will need to have had involvement with Budgets and Forecasts.
