IMMEDIATE START- Finance Business Partner, Central London, Production (Visual Effects), c£65k
An independent, fast growing production company are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their Bafta and Emmy nominated creative studio! Reporting into the Head of Commercial and Finance, you will focus entirely on new business, revenue, utilisation and FP&A. If you see your career heading down the FD/CFO/COO route then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
Financial Management
● Ensure robust processes exist around timely billings and collections.
● Accurate management of the cost base to deliver VFX work.
Commercial management
● Contribute to the design / development of commercial models
● Assess all aspects of VFX work from commercial perspective (e.g. model future activities / opportunities)
● Improve and integrate our existing systems and look to continually develop our data collection and analysis
● Engage in the VFX growth strategy of the business (low cost geographies, Long form work)
● Establish and maintain KPI’s, reviews and procedures around job selection, revenue forecasting, job tracking, job profitability and overage recovery.
● In conjunction with business leaders develop and run the annual budget process and build a cycle of ongoing forecasting.
● Improve level of commercial understanding and focus in the business
● Assist as required in ad hoc business expansion projects.
About you:

● You are a highly numerate qualified accountant. (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
● Ideally you have prior experience working in a fast growing creative business.
● Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with non financial leaders.

● You remain calm under pressure.
