Head of Finance, Hybrid
Your new company
Our client is looking to recruit a Head of Finance to work closely with the Finance Director and the senior leadership team.
Your new role
You will provide an excellent finance service to the business that will allow the Executive Team and the business heads to drive the strategy. You will put oversee all the financial controls and offer a range of financial management and strategy issues. You will manage and develop a finance team of 7, provide excellent business partnering to all areas and ensure all finance systems are effective so to minimise the organisation's tax liabilities. In addition you will liaise with HR in providing training for all managers across the organisation. This is a customer focus role so you will have the responsibility for the development of ongoing relationships and show an active commitment to the company that reflects the needs and concerns of customers within and outside the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified with experience in financial management of a £15 million plus turnover organisation. A track record in delivering high level financial models and analysis to Director level is a must as well as experience in managing financial transactions and accounting procedures, managing a small finance team and working with budget holders. Proven knowledge and understanding of Excel to develop costings and financial models is vital. In person you will be confident, perceptive of others and your environment, be an effective communicator, develop strong relationships, embrace change and have a genuine desire to realise the full potential of individuals.
