HR Business Partner

Location – London

Contract – 6months

My high profile Asset Management client are currently recruiting for a HR Business partner to join their team based in London on a initial 6 month contract.

The Human Resources department plays a critical role in managing the organization's most important asset, its people. It is responsible for a broad range of activities, including identifying and recruiting the best available talent, and partnering with managers to retain, develop and motivate our people to reach their fullest potential. The Human Resources Business Partner will work with Global and EMEA Human Resources partners to support the business through providing a broad range of Human Resources services.

Human Resources operate a business partner model which is supported by centres of expertise including; HR Service Centre, Recruitment; Learning and Development; Employee Relations; and Compensation and Benefits. The business also operates a matrix management model and candidates would benefit from having experience of operating in this type of environment.

The HR Business Partner acts as a partner to managers by providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups:
* Consults with management regarding interpretation and application of corporate human resources programs
* Builds and maintains a valued advisor relationship with managers and delivers Human Resource solutions that effectively address business issues and needs
* Ensures compliance of all employment and labour laws

The focus of this role is to execute on key strategic HR initiatives for the business and various HR programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Attend relevant team meetings to ensure Human Resources programmes are rolled out effectively to client groups.
* Facilitate communication among partners and management; providing consistent guidance and leadership to managers and partners on dispute resolution.
* Lead on all redundancy programmes & support any TUPE projects managing risks effectively to avoid associated employment law risks.
* Execute on change initiatives that achieve business results.
* Change initiatives may include changes to organization structures and supporting re–engineering of business processes, technology systems and role re–design.
* Consider the use and actively support the use of HR data points and analytics to proactively support managers to address HR related situations impacting their functions.
* Support a culture committed to employee engagement, development and growth by coaching and advising managers on talent assessment, career and succession planning, performance management.
* Support your client base through annual talent process in line with global processes.
* Support & foster an inclusive & diverse culture by ensuring that all activity is considered in light of corporate & BU Diversity & Inclusion plans. To include but not limited to partnering with Talent Acquisition to help achieve a high quality, diverse talent pipeline, supporting the business in coaching and mentoring diverse partners and marketing of support programs and events promoting best practice in this area.
* Effectively represent and partner across HR to deliver full HR service by identifying client needs, educating clients about HR capabilities, and engaging the appropriate HR partners in a timely manner. To include assessment and liaison with Talent Development to ensure training needs are supported
* Support annual compensation planning processes. Work with business to ensure pay decisions are objective and equitable. Provide counsel to managers and review pay decisions with leadership teams to manage risk and ensure best–practice and company policy adherence. Balance associated budgets and spend for relevant client groups.
* Ensure compliance on HR–related company guidelines and policies, as well as compliance with all regional, country, local, and company regulations.
* Assist with corporate and regional HR projects as needed.
