The Job

Underneath the vision of the Group Operations Director, the Director of Central Services will lead, inspire, challenge and constantly improve Indigo's strategic core operations across NOC, Resourcing and Logistics. Working alongside their Peers the Director of Central Services will identify synergies, maximise efficiencies and ensure the needs of all clients are met by supporting all operational requirements. Leadership of a dedicated team of 40+ individuals to deliver "best in class" solutions to our expanding client base.

Deliverables

Participate in the design and implementation of the Global Operational Strategy.
Own the Global Strategy for NOC, Logistics and Resource Management, taking an experienced management team on a journey of excellence.
Inspire a class leading global 365/24/7 Network Operations Centre.
Deliver a visible, impact assessed pipeline for FLM contracts.
Cost effective global logistics operation to manage spares on behalf of clients and deliver to site in agreed time scales and ensuring full trade compliance.
Deliver a robust, coordinated, matrix driven resource management solution across all field staff, for contracted and project work, which maximises profits and utilisation.
Drive a Service Assurance team to impact assess new contracts, standardise those offerings, implement/deliver robust reporting packs and give confidence to clients by acting as an impartial early life support body.
Escalation point for all Managed Service clients.
Supports the account management of major clients.
Ensure communication and seamless integration of central services across the business.

Competency

Extensive project and resource management experience, most likely telecom or engineering
APMP/P2/PMI/CMI preferable
Experience of working in a Logistics environment with a high–level understanding of trade compliance.
Proven track record of inspiring teams of experienced managers
Demonstrable experience of process management (Six Sigma desirable)
Excellent 360 communication skills, ability to present for success, up to board level.
Recognises the pressures of a global 365/24/7 environment.

Working Environment

Mainly office based in Magor, with the need to visit customers and field staff on a regular basis. International travel may also be required as per business needs
