Head of Data & BI

Longreach Recruitment is hiring a Head of Data & Business Intelligence for a scaling industry leader

The position provides a balance of work from home and the clients UK offices (HQ is in Leicestershire) and provides a base salary between GBP85'000 – GBP95'000 + Bonus + Broad Benefits

This is a superb position for those with indepth BI / Analytics leadership experience, a track record of leading analytical teams, strong commercial understanding of business challenges, and experience of devising first–class reporting, BI and data strategies (incorporating optimisation of Power BI)

Key Role Purpose & Responsibilities of the Head of Data & BI include.

Define and manage the roadmap and transformation journey that migrates to a shared service from disparate silo's that support local, central and group reporting, providing high quality outputs and trusted data insights.

Effective management of a broad stakeholder population and shaping the central data strategy – being the effective conduit between Operations and IT to agree consistency in approaches to data definition, storage, extraction, and report delivery

What Have You Done Before? What Do You Need to Demonstrate?

You'll be a commercially effective Data and BI leader with a track record of conducting data and reporting strategy reviews, implementing new processes and methodologies, and driving enhanced data management and reporting outputs by devising centralised or shared service offerings.

Proactive and entrepreneurial, we're seeking interest from those professionals that can marry strong technical and analytical competence with the ability to engage, influence and imbed change within a commercial setting where the optimisation of data and the accuracy and validity of insight and reporting is of paramount importance.

Key Skills & Experience Will Include

* Experience of defining and implementing wide ranging data and BI strategies

* Oversight of delivering self–service BI & Reporting capabilities

* Ownership of data standards and best practice analytical methodologies

* Demonstrated ability of leading, coaching and growing first class analytical teams

* Experience (if required( in setting up enterprise level data warehousing solutions

* First class stakeholder engagement, influencing and commercial debate exposure
