Account Director
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Director to join one of our fast paced, growing client teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading across a number of the teams key accounts. They will work closely with the Business Director, with support from the Account Managers and Executives, to plan and deliver integrated campaigns for key clients. They will be responsible for delivering highly effective campaigns that deliver across both short and long–term objectives to drive growth.
You will be involved in new business pitching to help support the continued growth of the accounts team. Across these clients, there is a need for an integrated planning approach, as we plan through increasing awareness and driving a cost–efficient CPA.
This will be an integral role, requiring a broad blend of skills; with a strong understanding of how to plan and execute across a range of digital and tech–platforms, as well as a solid understanding of data analysis and insight techniques, and a competent level of general marketing and creatives processes. The role has significant room for growth and career progression, with training provided to cover any knowledge gaps.
Key Responsibilities;
* Understand clients business and challenges they face. Develop, present and deliver industry–leading media strategies.
* Responsible for billing and financial reporting to Business Director on managed accounts
* Lead in new business pitching and preparation of responses
* Lead the creation of client report presentations – quarterly / annual and campaign level review
* Responsible and accountable for client budgets and financial reporting.
* Create and execute integrated, data driven strategies that deliver growth for clients.
* Closely work with the data science and digital teams to ensure we always deliver a truly data–driven, integrated approach across all clients, using Apollo and other relevant tools and techniques
* Full understanding of the client, industry, brand and audiences to reach client objectives.
* Helping to structure and market strategic partnerships to clients
* Channel neutral planning across all media including SEO, Content, Social and Programmatic
* Motivate the team across all channels and initiatives.
Required skills:
* History of delivery effective, integrated offline and digital execution campaigns.
* Experience in managing client planning and budgeting across multiple channels
* Client leadership experience, managing senior stakeholders and leading key meetings.
* Innately proactive; always pursuing new ways of bettering campaigns.
* Confident managing and educating other members of a team, including direct reports and wider agency members.
* Up to date knowledge of the ad tech landscape.
* Resilient: Adopts an energised and enthusiastic approach, even when under pressure.
* Project management skills: Draws up plans for delivery of work to deadlines, with all milestones plotted, follows up key deliverables to ensure timely delivery and heads off any risk to this through proactive checking in.
