SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
To establish and build sustainable working relationships with customers in order to grow and maintain new business in all aspects for MFS.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analysing sales options. Selling products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Build and develop relationships with new customers to increase and sustain growth
* Establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
* Be able to sell all aspects of the MFS portfolio confidently.
* Follow up on leads from other areas of the business, including engineers with the emphasis on turning those leads into successful business opportunities, and feedback accordingly.
* Target previous customers of MFS and identify any new business opportunities, specifically working on building those relationships and maximise selling opportunities
* Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
* Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
* Understand the needs of the customer with the ability to respond effectively with a plan on how to meet their needs
* Have a good understanding of the business products or services and be able to advise on them
