Marshall ADG are undertaking a significant project to replace and revitalize core business systems across all our Business Units and locations. We are looking for a Business Systems Director to spearhead our approach to optimising the business value generated through the use of these business systems in a post implementation environment.
Ideally you will come from an operational or technical background and have both the understanding and ability to deliver flexibly across multiple systems, departments and locations. You will be an inspirational leader responsible for leading the operational element of the programme, designing policies, overseeing customer service and overall people management. Ultimately, you'll ensure our operations run smoothly and that people are productive to deliver a high performing and efficient service.
Due to the importance of this role and project, this position will give you lots of visibility with senior management, working closely with the Executive team, and will offer you lots of future potential as we continue to grow both in the UK and globally.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, motivate, develop and appraise a multi–disciplined team of people responsible for helping the business achieve the most from its Business Systems, and foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture to achieve productivity and engagement;
* Collaborate with, influence and drive other senior management to formulate operational improvement plans which leverage and maximize the benefits realizable from optimal use of our Business Systems;
* Ensure all costs are controlled, reported and managed to help the organization optimize costs and benefits;
* Continually review and implement efficient processes and design policies that align with overall strategy;
* Ensure regulatory compliance;
* Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts;
* To support the strategic goals of the business as a member of the Senior Leadership Team for the project;
* Be a role model for building a world class operational team
