Based in the Cotswold's this luxury hotel and spa group is looking to recruit a Human Resources Director to provide strategic advice, guidance and leadership on all aspects of Human Resources across their various venues (some travel will be required).
The Human Resources Director will lead the development and implementation of the Company's HR strategy including supporting the effective management of change as well as playing a key role the development and integration of HR practices, policies and systems.
You should have experience of taking a lead role of all people focused initiatives including recruitment, retention, grievance and discipline and employee relations issues in a professional and sensitive manor. You will further be responsible for establishing a culture within the company which supports the policies and promotes growth of the business.
The ideal candidate will have experience of operating in a senior role ideally in hospitality or retail although other sectors may be considered – you'll be managing in a multi–site environment so previous experience of building relationships with senior stakeholders across the business would be required as well as being able to recognise and demonstrate the added value that an HR function can provide to meet the business needs of the Company. You should also have experience of managing a small team and be comfortable operating at Board level.
As the Human Resources Director you will bring previous experience working in the hospitality sector (or other service based role), be proactive, have strong training experience and be highly organised.
You should also be ambitious and keen to play a key role in leading the growth of the recruitment and training function for the business.
