Due to rapid growth and current expansion, we are now seeking a Sales Director to join us on a permanent, full–time basis to drive the growth of Nova forward.

The Role

As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for achieving the annual sales and profit target for Nova.

You will develop and execute our strategic plan to achieve and exceed sales targets and margin expectations. Instrumental in the bottom–up sales forecasting process, you will set challenging targets and, by leading, motivating and measuring the performance of the Sales team, ensure individual and team budgets and objectives are achieved.

You will also recruit, educate and develop a dynamic, customer centric team of high achieving, enthusiastic, hardworking, open–minded individuals with an eye for detail, controls and systems, and enable them to deliver unparalleled levels of customer service.

Additionally, you will:

– Build and maintain relationships with existing customers
– Expand on product categories purchased and grow and diversify our customer base
– Identify areas for new product growth and expansion with Product Category managers
– Create a vibrant and enthusiastic environment allowing for entrepreneurial expression
– Ensure effective sales monitoring is in place for all sales activity
– Capture critical data in relation to conversion targets and market opportunities
– Define actionable reporting dashboards to ensure SLAs and KPIs are effectively monitored
– Co–ordinate with the IT and Development Team to deliver industry leading technologies

About You

To be considered as our Sales Director, you will need:

– Previous experience as a Sales and Marketing Director, Sales Manager or Sales Executive
– The ability to communicate and influence at all levels, including executive and C–Suite
– Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
– Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
– Excellent verbal and written communications skills
– Proficiency in IT

Relevant market experience is desirable for this role.
