We are representing a London based public sector body who are seeking to engage an Interim Chief Engineer for 3–6 months to help provide strategic oversight across their diverse multi–site estate whilst they make a permanent appointment.
The role will be their strategic lead and custodian on the development and management of the engineered estate; to specify, plan, develop, deliver, and monitor appropriate and acceptable standards of service, in respect of mechanical and electrical services across the estate. You will take responsibility for the current and future supply of quality electrical and mechanical services to meet their growing need, ensuring they are planned and delivered in a timely and economical manner that mitigates business risk, complies with all relevant legislation and meets industry best practice.
You will undertake long term strategic planning for major services infrastructure across the estate ensuring provision of a suitably sized, proactively maintained services network, designed and delivered to mitigate business risk.
The successful candidate will be a Chartered Engineer who has extensive experience acting in a 'Chief Engineer' capacity presiding over a multi–site complex estate
