A large NHS organisation based in the North West has a new opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join them on an interim basis.

Main responsibilities:

To manage and lead the provision of a high quality, responsive and comprehensive Human Resources service for the organisation;
To provide strategic Business Partner support to Senior Managers within a designated division (or corporate areas) and to ensure the provision of expert human resources management advice, guidance on human resources policy and organisational and cultural change;
To ensure that the HR service is customer focussed, efficient, effective and delivered to the highest possible professional HR standards;
To develop and support the implementation of workforce programmes and policies to increase workforce productivity and enable the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives;
To take a corporate role in driving the HR agenda forward throughout the organisation, working in partnership with Managers, Staff Side Representatives, staff and other partners in ensuring that the organisation is an employer of choice and adopting excellent employment practice;
To monitor progress towards HR&OD Workforce Strategy Objectives within their own Division / Corporate areas, to develop actions to ensure strategy objectives are achieved in their area;
To monitor HR&OD Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to advise their senior divisional / corporate managers on actions to address any KPIs falling short of target;
To be the HR department lead / link for specific HR subjects as designated by the Deputy Director of Workforce.
Essential Skills/Experience:

MCIPD qualified;
Demonstrable experience of working in the NHS;
Proven knowledge of NHS Service Improvement Agenda;
Evidence of providing HR professional advice and support at senior level;
Significant proven knowledge of employment law and demonstrable experience of its application.
