Applicants will have previous strategic management experience and be effective operationally. They may have some knowledge and experience of the delivery of psychological wellbeing services. Interested applicants should bear in mind the small size of the charity.More specifically we are seeking:Degree level education and maybe a relevant qualification in clinical or therapeutic practice, as well as a business, management, or leadership qualification.Able to demonstrate successful leadership of a non–profit organisation.Innovation, vision, and strategic thinking skills.Exceptional people management skills.A track record in developing and delivering fundraising strategies.Financial acumen.Previous experience of working with a voluntary board of trustees.Previous experience of leading an organisation which uses volunteers.Knowledge and experience of psychological wellbeing and safeguarding processes when working with C&YP.A genuine interest in this area of work.Key responsibilities will include:Work with the Board of Trustees to ensure that a long–term strategy is in place for financial and operational security, and that the charity is fully compliant with all relevant legislation.Develop income generation strategies to maintain and enhance the level of funding available to the charity.Have responsibility for day–to–day financial management of the charity.Work with the clinical management team to ensure that effective processes are in place so that the charity remains responsive to the needs of grieving C&YPLead, manage and support the staff team to maximise their personal contributions.Maintain effective networks with all principal supporters and stakeholders.Seek opportunities to expand and promote the role of the charity.Oversee the use of digital technology. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a well–respected charity delivering meaningful and valued services to C&YP, and to lead a small staff team to ensure they continue to grow and flourish both as part of the organisation and individually. If you would like to play a key role in the future of Balloons, please see the recruitment process in the attached Information Pack
