Finance Project Lead

Our client, a prestigious financial services firmis seekingto appoint a Finance Project lead to manage and coordinate the post-acquisition and finance transformation activities resulting from a recent acquisition.

Reporting to theHead of Finance,the role willbe responsible forthe transformation and management of post-acquisition activities within the finance function. The role will have responsibility for managing and coordination of the finance workstream, managing finance activities to meet the integration strategy. Responsibilities will include financial control to help achieve future efficiencies, as well as managing the process / transition activities for purchase ledger, payroll systems and core systems. You will also support Management Information and FP&A activities, project planning, and coordination of resources. The role will also support a major finance transformation program and senior stakeholder engagement.

The successfulcandidate will be a finance professional with experience of managing finance projects. Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) however flexibility will be shown for part qualified, you should have experience of finance change and transition activities. Financial Services experience is desirable and investment or wealth management would be preferred, ideally with post-acquisition or M&A experience. Most importantly, you should be an enthusiastic, self-starter with a willingness to be hands on.
