Legal Counsel, Retail Business

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a lawyer to join a fast paced and commercially focused legal team of a well known retail brand.

You will negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and provide legal advice in relation to a variety of matters. You will act as a trusted legal adviser to colleagues throughout the business at various levels of seniority. This role reports to a Senior Legal Counsel and will contribute towards the supervision of the trainee in the team.

You will work on a wide range of commercial contracts including marketing agreements; IT contracts; supply chain and logistics agreements; and consignment contracts. You will work closely with the procurement team on contract tenders and negotiation, and work with the marketing teams on advertising campaigns and strategy.

This is a fast paced and vibrant organisation, and the ideal candidate must have a strong interest to work in the retail sector. You must have experience of commercial contracts, IP, or marketing, either from private practice or an in-house setting. You will join a supportive and friendly legal team and have an opportunity to develop you in-house legal career.
