Contentious Construction Solicitor, 3+ PQE, Manchester - An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Construction Solicitor to manage a high value caseload in a market leading legal 500 firm.

JOB TITLE: Contentious Construction Solicitor EXPERIENCE: 3+ LOCATION: Manchester SALARY: up to c£110,000 DOE

THE ROLE: This is an excellent opportunity join a successful team of over 20 dedicated Lawyers who specialise in contentious construction matters. The successful Construction Solicitor will be responsible for resolving claims under the pre-action protocol for construction and engineering disputes and litigation, to include alternative dispute resolution, adjudication and meditation. The appointed candidate will be expected to play an active role in business development and work to raise the firm's profile whilst helping to win new business. Applicants must be confident in their ability to collaborate closely with colleagues in other offices & teams and initiate, build and maintain effective client relationships in order to be successful in this role.

THE CANDIDATE: Applications are welcomed from confident Solicitors who have a minimum of 3 years' PQE specialising in Construction matters. The requirements for this role include drive, enthusiasm and vision along with a flexible and can-do approach to working. Applicants must have a proven ability of being able to manage files as well as excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach. It is also desired by this firm that candidates wishing to be considered for this role have a demonstratable passion for business development an a particular interest in contentious construction work.
