Reporting to the CFO the Financial Controller and managing a small team you will be responsible for the monthly financial close and reporting, including the Group consolidation of their EU entities.

Principal Responsibilities of the FC Role
- Work in close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure that appropriate, but robust, financial processes and controls are implemented and maintained through the Companies
- Maintenance of the General Ledgers within the accounting systems
- Be responsible for the monthly close of all UK companies in a timely fashion
- Be responsible for overseeing the close of all EU companies in a timely fashion
- Group Consolidation
- Liaise with the Company’s payroll agencies and processing PAYE
- Cashflow forecasting and funding requirements
- Key point of contact for the external audit, financial statements and corporation tax returns of all entities
- Lead a team of 4, including Finance Business Partner, Accounts Assistant, Office Manager and Office Assistant.
- Deputise for the Chief Financial Officer as required
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Extensive financial & management reporting and statutory accounts experience
- Experience in intercompany recharges and transfer pricing
- Experience in Group Consolidation
- Flexible, professional, and personable
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to successfully communicate with people at all levels within and outside of the organisation
- Experience of QuickBooks accounting software
- Business fluency in Spanish or German
