Head of Housing Estates & Communities

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a Local Authority based in the Midlands to appoint a Head of Estates & Communities within their Housing directorate.

Contract Details

Pay Scale – GBP500 – GBP600 per day – Negotiable depending on experience.

Location – Remote Working.

Contract Length – 3–6–month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.

Dudley Council are looking for a strong, experienced housing executive who understands operational and technical management and has worked within a neighbourhood model. With a track record of successfully leading and managing multi–disciplinary functions within public sector and housing association providers.

The successful candidate will also be someone who is happy to undertake an operational brief, which includes engagement with tenants and attendance at evening meetings.

• Leadership and management of all teams within the remit, budget management and attendance at all relevant meetings and boards including improving tenant participation function

• Management of Housing Tenancy and Estates

• Management of ASB

• Participation Development

• Housing Fraud

• Travellers

• Scoping a Neighbourhoods model for the future service with possible support from a Project Manager

• Private Sector Housing Enforcement
