The role

As a Business Analyst in our Central Operations team you'll deliver initiatives with partners and stakeholders that continuously improve products and processes, achieving product excellence for our customers. You will be provide a business service which improves understanding and which enhances overall business performance, participating as an active member of the company

What you'll be doing

• Influencing others by demonstrating core SPW values and behaviours.
• Acting as a source of professional expertise, having accountability for continuously evaluating models, systems and sources of information.
• Identifying potential for risk and manging project risk and dependencies.
• Ensuring effective planning and control of resources, using forecasting/planning tools and data and key performance indicators.
• Delivering a culture of effective colleague engagement, continuous improvement and customer focus.
• Using tangible business key metrics and analysis to contribute to strategic management discussions and decisions.
• Embedding a collaborative and customer centric culture, creating a positive working environment that drives colleagues to work together.
• Engaging stakeholders across the company to optimise business results.
• Initiating and delivering change programmes / process re-engineering to achieve continuous improvement.
• Providing insightful information, guidance and advice to influence business decisions.

Your qualifications & experience

You'll have a proven track record of delivering and re-engineering processes in financial services. You'll understand the Global economy and macro economic trends and the impact on the SPW business model, and incorporate this into short and long term strategy. We want to see examples of:

• Delivering business analysis for both Business Change and IT Change projects/programmes.
• Challenging the 'status quo'.
• Strong business acumen - creating competitive advantage and generating positive value through strategic business planning and execution.
• A strong Risk & Compliance mindset - You'll proactively assess and analyse relevant threats and missed opportunities, and develop effective risk mitigation plans in response to threats.

• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management.
