Private Wealth Solicitor

Our client is a leading law firm based in Oxford. The firm have a national reputation for handling commercial and personal legal matters for a wide range of individuals, businesses, institutions, and third sector organisations.

The Tax, Trusts & Estates Department is currently seeking a 4+ years' PQE Private Client Solicitor to join the team in Oxford.

The role would cover private client, but the department is renowned at dealing with high value complex work and your involvement would depend upon your level of experience. The majority of this role will be wills, probate, tax and trusts focused.

Your experience will include:

• Wills and probate experience and be experienced in running their own independent caseload of files, covering estate administration (including taxable estates)
• Wills and estate planning for high net worth individuals with an interest in dealing with high value, cross-jurisdictional and complex cases
• Work on complex mental capacity cases if the candidate has relevant experience

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and proactive individual who has experience of supervising junior staff, an interest in business development and a desire to develop their own specialisms.

The ideal candidate will also be either STEP qualified or have aspirations to become STEP qualified.
