Delighted to be working in partnership with Assura plc in their search for a Finance Manager (Group) to join their expanding Finance team.
From their national base in Warrington, Assura are a specialist healthcare real estate investment trust. With 570+ GP surgery, primary care, diagnostic and treatment centre buildings around the country, their assets are fundamental to delivery of healthcare services to millions of patients.
This is a new exciting role within Assura, and we are looking for a calibre Qualified accountant to join as a senior member of the Finance Team. Your role will entail driving new ways of working built on technical accounting knowledge and capability. As an IFRS and qualified accountant, you will provide support and analysis to enable Assura to meet its business and strategic goals as well as take responsibility for the creation of the year-end and interim reports, whilst forecasting the Group position and monitoring the performance of the business.
We’re looking for a Qualified accountant with previous Plc accounts experience. Strong technical skills are essential with experience covering audit, statutory accounts preparation and process improvement. You should have a commercial outlook with strong excel/modelling skills as you will also be involved in the modelling of strategic business plans, and coordinate and review financial due diligence on any acquisitions. To be successful in the role, excellent communication and influencing skills are paramount.
