They are currently seeking a talented Technical Director to join the Executive Leadership Team.
Through established relationships with major manufacturers and many of the world's premier airlines, the company has built a reputation for design quality and innovative flair through its products, which have anticipated passenger trends and offer the highest standards of comfort and security, whilst meeting the industry's rigorous regulatory requirements.
As Technical Director, you will develop and communicate a vision for technical direction, the product roadmap and the team. You will ensure that clients and projects are supported from an engineering and technical perspective from inception through to delivery, monitoring industry trends and technological advances, ensuring adherence to gateway schedules and delivery to market. You'll manage and mentor a growing team as well as seeking to attract best in class talent to grow and develop within the aircraft seating sector. The role is client facing so the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with key influencers and stakeholders in the aircraft and aerospace markets is essential.
You will have a degree in a relevant discipline, with aerospace sector experience and recent passenger seating involvement in a technical leadership role. You must have a solid commercial awareness and understanding, working to budgets, forecasting and reporting. Above all you must be able to demonstrate and communicate your vision and principles effectively to your team, your board colleagues, customers and external stakeholders.
The salary package has the flexibility to attract the best and the prospects for the right candidate are substantial. You will be expected to live within reasonable commute of the Northamptonshire base.
