What you will be doing in this role
You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders and work in partnership with business leaders to provide HR advice whilst managing business risk at all times.
You'll identify gaps, propose and implement changes to continuously improve performance and employee engagement.
You'll support in company policy and HR & Payroll process development in line with business needs and employment law updates.
You'll manage ER cases across the business and provide specialist HR advice and guidance, ensuring relevant employment legislation and best practice are followed.
You'll build a rapport with recognised trade unions and assist recruitment, restructures, change projects and consultation processes.
You'll coach line managers to manage employee relations issues directly where possible and ensure wide spread understanding across the business.
You'll champion equality and diversity across the company.
What we are looking for
You'll have extensive experience in ER case management and employment law knowledge on a range of HR issues such as attendance, capability, disciplinary, flexible working, TUPE.
You'll be able to demonstrate your ability to develop and implement HR polices and procedures, including the ability to evaluate learning interventions and adapt approaches based on ability and feedback.
You'll possess impeccable time management and organisation skills with a strong eye for detail to own your workload and deliver on business KPIs.
CIPD qualification is desirable, but not essential.
