The newly formed South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership has an exceptional opportunity for a Deputy Chief Executive (Communities) to join the Senior Leadership Team. Boston Borough Council, East Lindsey Council and South Holland District Council are embarking on a trailblazing partnership which aims to be bold, ambitious and will be the largest in the country.
Through joint working, the Councils will have the opportunity to shape policy at a regional level, whilst securing more resources to deliver on our priorities and ultimately do more for the communities we serve, whilst being more efficient in the way we operate.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, this broad, exciting, and innovative role will oversee the Communities portfolio which includes Wellbeing & Community Leadership, Regulatory Services, Leisure & Culture, and Neighbourhoods.
We are seeking to appoint a visionary and motivational leader with excellent leadership skills. You will have a proven track record of delivering major transformation in challenging environments, working at a senior or executive level in a large complex organisation. The successful candidate will have strong partnership working experience with local councillors, MPs, and external partners both in the public, private and/or voluntary sectors.
The role will play a key part in shaping what the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership deliver which will become one of the most exciting and forward–thinking partnerships in Local Government.
