Our client is looking for a Data Protection Solicitor / Data Protection Officer to come in and assist the Company in matters relating to data protection, privacy and GDPR. You will have in-depth experience of managing privacy and data protection programmes including experience of GDPR management.

Based near Manchester the ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Practitioner with strong experience in managing data privacy / protection and data compliance
- Provide support including assistance with support in data privacy impact evaluations, data privacy incident management and handle data subject requests
- Draft and negotiate data processing agreements
- Implement and ensure execution of data privacy programs and provide respective guidance to management incl. regular data privacy trainings to the organization
- Have good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work well and deliver data advice to non-lawyers in a common-sense manner
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Serve as primary point of contact for the ICO on all data protection matters
