The BDM will work across the Compliance and SaaS division and all Technology Products including Meridian, the compliance and risk management system, Elogbooks, our innovative CFM and service desk, and new products which will complement these offerings and be part of our unique integrated solution to compliance, supply chain and job management.

Reporting to the Elogbooks Commercial Director, we are looking to develop a strong technology sales team with this being the first role within this.

Key Activities

  • Contacting potential clients to establish needs and arrange meetings.
  • Working alongside the marketing department to ensure initiatives are aligned with sales requirements.
  • Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales through well documented and considered planning.
  • Developing quotes and proposals.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven software sales experience preferably in b2b software products.
  • At least 5 years' sales experience.
  • Experience of complex business to business operational processes.
  • Ability to work on own initiative is essential.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a consultancy, SaaS environment, or technology related environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Built Environment and Commercial Property Sector
