Our client is one of the world's largest engineering and construction companies, from refineries to nuclear power plants, from the US, around the globe, to the UK, where this role is based. For them we are hiring a Senior Business Development Manager to identify, pursue and win new Energy Transition business.
You will establish and maintain long term relationships and deep engagement with customers, customer organisations, strategic partners, and industry contacts, based on customer's plans for growth and projects. You role will be to design prospect win strategies and present proposals you have had a hand in preparing, including pricing, followed by negotiations and preparing contracts.
It is likely you will be degree qualified with 10+ years business development experience in the Energy sector, with established industry contacts amongst technology providers, developers and asset owners within UK power and industrial facilities, especially net zero, renewables, carbon capture and storage (CCS), CO2 sequestration, plastics circularity, carbon neutral building, advanced fuels, blue and green hydrogen production, and a strong technical knowledge of Energy Transition opportunities and solutions.
You will report to the Global Manager of Business Development, supported by BD representatives, and liaising internally with Department Managers, Project Managers and Technical Leads across regions to recommend new services and new industry markets.
This role can be work–from–home supported by days–in–the–office meetings, or based in the London office. It will require approximately 25% travel UK & internationally.
Base salary GBP100K – GBP120K. Package includes: Bonus, Flexible Working, Private Medical Coverage, Life Insurance Program, Pension Scheme, Employee Assistance Program, Long Term Disability Scheme
