A leading manufacturer are seeking an experienced Head of Safety, Environmental and Quality to lead with all Quality, Environmental, and H&S strategy, processes, policies, legislation and legal obligations across all site operations within this expanding business.

DUTIES OF THE HEAD OF SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND QUALITY:
* Lead the development of Quality, Environmental, and H&S strategy, objectives/targets and implementation of best practices.
* Prioritise QEHS actions/initiatives and successfully transfer these to operational plans relevant to the level of risk.
* Ensure QEHS systems and policies are applied across all departments.
* Provide advice on legislative requirements / codes of practice.
* Develop and maintain quality and environmental systems compliant with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
* Work closely with other departments to ensure systems compliance and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE HEAD OF SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND QUALITY:
* Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and/or Environmental
* Associate level certification to IEMA and/or general certification in NEBOSH
* Minimum 5 year's, experience in QEHS Management gained ideally within a manufacturing, chemical, or food/fmcg environment.
* Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies (HSE, Environment Agency, Councils)
* Understanding and experience of Safety / Environmental Management Systems inc ISO 40001 and ISO 9001
* A superb communicator (written and verbal) with excellent planning, time management and organisation skills.
* We are seeking a confident leader who holds the ability to inspire and motivate team members to exceed goals.
The role is commutable from: Aldridge, Lichfield, Tamworth, Walsall, Cannock, Stafford, Burton on Trent, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
