2 Direct reportsI have a great opportunity for an experienced Ops focused leader to join a growing manufacturing business based in Essex.
Reporting into the GM, you will be part of the Senior management team and lead the production and end to end supply of the company's products, from order intake through to dispatch and customer receipt.
There will be a strong focus on supporting operations of this fast paced, growing business, and coaching, mentoring & developing a team of Managers to deliver on the site based objectives.
Responsibilities:
Leadership of Production, Warehouse and Logistics.
Implement modern / advanced manufacturing and engineering tools and methodologies.
Create a positive, engaging and supportive culture, maintaining a safe environment that is inclusive. One that is open, honest, with good communication and empowerment.
Hold all employees accountable for their performance.
Provide leadership coaching to your team to ensure optimal performance of each operation.
Initiate projects that will make the business more efficient and profitable.
Attend business reviews.Requirements:
A world–class manufacturing specialist, with detailed knowledge of production operations & continuous improvement.
Be able to demonstrate what good leadership looks like.
Have the confidence and self–awareness to maintain a positive attitude for your team during the highs and lows of business. Be the inspirational leader that is visible and supportive, helping the functional leads achieve their objectives.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience of introducing Lean practices into a similar environment.
