My client is leading international life sciences business looking to establish a substantial base in the UK. They are well-funded with a superb product portfolio and ambitious plans to grow the business.
The business unit will be circa GBP1 billion turnover for first full financial year.
Job Description
This is a broad CFO role encompassing all areas of finance - you will be responsible for building a brand new team and finance function. It is likely that IT and HR will also fall under the remit of this role.
With sales of circa GBP1 billion, it is thought the finance function will need of team of 25+.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have extensive experience in pharmaceuticals or life sciences. I would also like to speak to candidates from analogous industries such as food manufacture.
It would be a distinct advantage to have experience in building teams from scratch and to hire with future growth in mind.
The role will also be external facing and in a highly regulated industry and so experience in this field is preferable.
Experience of international markets would also be very useful.
