The role
Working within the Operation team and working with the operational delivery team to ensure cyclical & structural maintenance programmes and planned works are kept up to date via a central programme. Changes are cascaded to stakeholders.
Regular communication with All Clients teams and Stakeholders
To ensure that all works are conducted in line with the Legal and Company Health and Safety procedures.
To work with the WBC streetworks team to ensure the programme can adhere with the south east permit scheme and resolve/cascade any constraints applied to the programme.
To provide engineering knowledge and assistance to other members of the team and service, the Council and members of the public
Problem solving and arranging corrective action to all aspects of the deliverable programmes
To be responsible for the economic, efficient and effective provision of Highway services and statutory obligations in accordance with the term service contract with WBC
To assist the site supervisor with creation of Construction phase plans / Work package plans. To ensure gang packs are kept up to date including site specific C2's where applicableKey accountabilities
Develop, build and take ownership of planned programmes for WBC in conjunction with the site operations & commercial teams.
Keep the central programme up to date and communicated to all stakeholders
Keep the planned programmed compliant to the south east permit scheme.
Raise PAA, PA applications for works being undertaken in accordance with south east permit scheme
Ensure that all Section 58's and full registrations are completed according to WBC protocols
Attend meetings and provide information as required.
Develop and maintain working relationships with both internal teams and WBC, members, parishes and other council service providers to ensure service levels are met and identify opportunities for continuous service improvements.
Arrange & attend regular progress/team meetings as appropriate, including Client led Alliance meetings.
Actively engage all sections of the community, stakeholders and customers in order to inform and deliver continuous service improvements across the council.
Ensure all documents are uploaded to Workspace Management System.
Log Goods Received Notes (GRN's) in V Orders
Collate information and produce As Built records for Contract and Client Records.
Perform any other task that may reasonably be expected of the position and grade of the postSkills & experience
