About the Team

This is an exciting time to be joining the team! The HR and Recruitment team have two existing members and are looking for a third to help support the administrative tasks of this hypergrowth business. The HR & Recruitment team are responsible for more than just that, they take a lead on driving our fabulous culture, employee events, team building, onboarding and office management.

Role

This new position will join the current standalone HR function covering all elements of HR and employee relations and working with the Head of People for the delivery of strategic business objectives.

Employee relations

Manage all dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy

  • Advise on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge–share best practice
  • Develop HR policy and procedures to support effective employee relations, drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation

HR strategy

  • Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision–making skills
  • Help to alignment between HR strategy and business goals

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level desirable
  • CIPD qualification – Level 5 desirable

Previous experience

  • Proven HR employee relations experience is expected
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills, as well as proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application are required
  • Proactive team player with strong communication and problem–solving skills
  • Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is crucial
  • Self–motivated and able to work autonomously or as part of a team
