People & Performance Business Partner (Maternity Cover)
37 hours per week
Based at Burton and South Derbyshire College Main Campus
GBP26,244 per annum
As a College, we are dedicated to providing a supportive environment to drive personal achievement and development. Working closely with line managers, you will identify performance and improvement issues and opportunities, ensure HR best practice is embedded within line management and provide professional coaching and support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with generalist experience to join an enthusiastic and busy team to play a lead role in supporting and advising our staff and managers at all levels.
Your Role:
Influences, supports and challenges managers with managing people and teams
Coaches line managers on people issues, building their skills, expertise and competencies to manage and maximise their performance and that of their teams
Manages consultation, discipline, grievance, and other meetings providing advice and support as required
Involves completion of reports and statutory returns
Your Experience:
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
A sound knowledge and experience of using employment law and HR best practice
Proficient in report writing and analysis of HR metrics
